More than 1,000 people will take to the streets of the SW Calgary areas of North Glenmore and Lakeview for the 27th annual St. Paddy's Day run, hosted by the Calgary Roadrunners. This is your first chance to gauge your post-winter fitness level in a big race (or to just run for the green beer you'll consume later).
Supporting the Calgary Roadrunners and the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, the race course starts and finishes at Central Memorial High School in SW Calgary, looping through North Glenmore and Lakeview. Post-race celebrations in the Central Memorial gymnasium include the very popular 'Win Your Weight in Beer' draw prizes.
